The | D D6 | changes in the verses are not really played, I think. They
are just a substitute if you’re playing alone and the riff isn’t there.
If there is a second player for the riff, a plain D as accompaniment is
fine throughout the verses.
The marimba plays a downward movement in the middle 8. The acoustic
guitars, I think, keep playing A, though. With two players it might sound
nice if one guitar stayed on the A, while the other plays the “[Link] (high)”
voicings. For one player the “[Link] (low)” could be an option to include
these chords. Further suggestions are highly welcome!
